Established in December 2021, Sefrou Association for Multidisciplinary Arts (SAMA) co-presents an arts and culture program in Sefrou’s Medina to foster inspiration and highlight multiculturalism in the region, all the while co-developing the old city, socially, economically, and environmentally.
SAMA believes in the power of art as a means for development, with an arts and culture program as a tool for connectivity promoting civic pride and a sense of belonging. As an organization, we trust in creativity, inspiration, and entrepreneurship as a strength and an opportunity. We partner with global organizations and collaborate with local communities.
Sefrou Museum of Multiculturalism ( SMM ) is a catalyst for projects and a hub for community building. By creating an art walk in and around the old medina, increasing visitor numbers, and igniting dialogue around Sefrou’s multicultural heritage, SAMA digs into the past to shape Sefrou’s future.
